Msgr. John Griesbach
Msgr. John Griesbach is a priest of the Diocese of Fresno, ordained in 1976. He is a former high school teacher, vocation director, seminary vice rector, pastor, and has served as Executive Director of St. Anthony Retreat Center since October 4, 2003.
Father Rod L. Craig
Father Rod L. Craig was born in Wasco CA to Tom Craig and Dona Baughman, the oldest of four boys. Reared in Wasco he entered Ryan Preparatory College in Fresno, the High School seminary of the Diocese of Fresno staffed by the Jesuits, as a high school Sophomore. He attended The Pontifical College Josephinum in Columbus OH for college receiving his BA in Religious Studies. He completed his seminary formation at Theological College of the Catholic University of America in Washington DC. Fr Rod has served as a parish priest in Fresno, Yosemite National Park, Mariposa, Atwater and Easton, taught religion to Juniors and Seniors at San Joaquin Memorial High School, Fresno. He now serves as Chaplain at St Anthony Retreat Center and Santa Teresita Youth Conference Center in Three Rivers. In May of 2016 he complete his training as a Spiritual Director at Mercy Center in Burlingame. Fr Rod has been assigned to the retreat center since 2013.
Sister Danielle Witt
Sister Danielle Witt has been the Associate Director here at St. Anthony Retreat for the past nine years. She is a member of the School Sisters of Notre Dame, an international community of Catholic Sisters. Originally from the Midwest, near St. Louis, MO., she has served as a junior high and high school teacher, a director of religious education, a missionary in Honduras, Central America for ten years where she became fluent in Spanish, a novice director for her community both in Honduras and in the U.S, as well as a retreat director and administrator of a retreat center in Kentucky. Sr. Danielle has a Masters in Theological Studies from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago and has been a spiritual director for over 20 years.
Director of Business & Operations
Mike has been with The Retreat Center since September of 2013. He currently serves as the Business Manager/Director of Operations for both, St. Anthony Retreat Center and Santa Teresita Youth Conference Center. He comes from a vast background in business, ministry and firefighting. He has served and coordinated over 100 different camps in his ministry career which included being an Executive Pastor at a large church in Visalia. His business background includes 15 years in a family hardware business and Operations Pastor at Visalia Assembly of God. He calls Three Rivers his home in which his firefighting career is what brought him here, he retired in 2013 as a Fire Captain which is when God directed him to here.
Conference and Program Coordinator
Hi, I am Barbara, the conference and program coordinator. Please call me for your reservations and together we will plan your event. Please feel free to come and visit our facility ahead of time. I have been blessed to be St. Anthony’s for nine years, and am happy to say that I am a Three Rivers native. Before coming to St. Anthony’s I was a Horticulture Instructor at College of Sequoias for 20 years, thus I also have a hand in the landscaping and flowers.
Director Santa Teresita
Cristal was born to a migrant family in the San Joaquin Valley. She is the oldest of three daughters born to Bulmaro and Hilda Juarez. She is the first person in her family to attend college, currently; she is a 4th year student at California State University, Fresno, and a Child Development Major. Cristal has been involved with Youth and Young adult Ministry for 8 years. She has been actively involved as a participant, team member, team leader, retreat coordinator, event coordinator, and youth ministry coordinator. Cristal was also the Speaker Coordinator for the Bishop John Steinbock Hispanic Ministry Convocation in 2011 as an intern for the Diocese of Fresno, Office of Ministries. Currently, Cristal is the Ministry Coordinator for Santa Teresita Youth Conference Center as well the Youth Ministry Coordinator for Immaculate Heart of Mary parish in Hanford, Ca.
My name is Roxanne McWilliams. I’ve lived in Three Rivers CA. for four years with my husband and my two sons. I’ve been a part of St. Anthony Retreat staff for three and a half years. I am the Administrative Assistant. I answer the phone, help with reservations and I oversee all accounts payable and all deposits for St. Anthony Retreat and Santa Teresita Youth Conference Center. I’ve also been a part of our kitchen staff. I enjoy being a part of St. Anthony Retreat team.
Director of Resource Development & Marketing
Employed by the Visalia Chamber of Commerce for over 19 years, I came to St Anthony Retreat Center by way of United Way of Tulare County. With many years of fundraising experience, I have worked with several other local Ambassador groups, including Visalia Chamber, Tulare Chamber and the Tulare Kings Hispanic Chamber.
I am a mother of four, and a grandmother to 10 grandchildren I stay busy with soccer games, swim meets, and traveling to visit the ones who live in Orange County and the Sacramento area. Serving on many local service clubs, my passion has always been volunteering and giving back to our community. I enjoy the opportunity and relationships I have developed over the years in working with the business community. I strive to become more creative in Fundraising which allows us to become better stewards of our donations and resources
My name is Alfredo Camarena, I am the Retreat Coordinator at Santa Teresita. I am the youngest of three and have a huge love for animals, especially dogs! I am also currently in the process of complete my B.A. in Criminology; I plan to work in the field of helping end human trafficking. I’ve been involved in social justice and ministry for almost 10 years, leading the youth ministry at St. Anthony Claret, Fresno as the coordinator. Here at STYCC, I am excited to be part of the team that creates unforgettable experiences for all of our groups. Come pay us a visit!
Assistant Retreat Coordinator
I am the Assistant Retreat Coordinator at Santa Teresita. I was born in Mexico, and moved to Fresno, CA when I was 5 years old. I am the youngest of 5. I am also a full time student, currently attending Fresno State University in pursue of my B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Gerontology. My goal is to work as a school counselor in high school. I have been a youth leader for 4 years at my home parish, St. Anthony Mary Claret, Fresno and have been the co-coordinator there for over 1 year. It is my pleasure to be a part of the STYCC team and I am greatly looking forward to provide you and your group with the best experience possible here at STYCC.
Gail Bennett Began as a volunteer in January 2004 when she became Admin. Assistant on Jan. 10, 2006, and retired on Nov. 10, 2010. And then returned as part-time admin. Assistant in Apr. 2012 and enjoy the work, my co-workers; the beauty of this Retreat.
